Gitan is a seven-year-old gelding that has been part of the furniture at Woodpark Stud. He was precocious enough to win two trails in Sydney as a 2yo and has gone on to win six races and place a further 11 times, amassing over $270,000 in prize money. He is a lovely chestnut gelding and he has always moved very well, having an exceptional walk. With black type evident through his pedigree, Gitan is out of a Flying Spur mare who has produced three winners to date and by the European bred sire and dual Group 1 winner in Equiano.
